Milled parts arrived in Stuttgart

Two essential parts of the REMOS structure arrived in Stuttgart. The launch adapter (left), which connects the entire experiment to the REXUS rocket and the cylinder cover (right), onto which the boom with the probe is screwed, are now waiting for integration.
The experiment’s housing, which is formed by a cylindrical section, and some parts for the adapter for the shaker test are in production at the DLR in Stuttgart too. The parts are planned to be ready for integration on 17th of September.
Critical Design Review

Our team members from Stuttgart, Bremen and Darmstadt came together in Oberpfaffenhofen close to Munich for our CDR presentation. Everything went well and we successfully passed the milestone. We got the GO for construction! Two of our members will stay another two days for a soldering workshop at the DLR.

Next milestone is coming up! We delivered our experiment documentation for the critical design review to the DLR.
Now, we are looking forward to the presentation on 8 June at GSOC.
